About Us
Artefact Frames is a division of El Framo - Ponsonby's favourite picture framer for almost 25 years.
The team behind El Framo have years of experience creating incredible custom work for our clients - from prints and posters, through to shoes, sports shirts, medals and dried flowers! We have lived by the motto 'We can frame anything'. We will try our best to come up with a way to frame whatever comes through the door and make it as beautiful as possible.
As members of the Fine Art Trade Guild, El Framo has always been dedicated to providing quality to our customers. Frames are made from solid wood, as well as using quality glass and boards, in order to live up to the Archival Framing standards the guild sets internationally for all their members (be they galleries or picture framers).
The Artefact standard frame range aims to deliver you a similarly top notch product at a reasonable price. We wanted to provide our customers El Framo quality, in cash and carry standard sized frames.
Custom framing is what we have built our reputation on, and we are some of the best in the business. If you think you need a custom frame for your piece, or would like us to fit something up to your standard frame, come and see us in our Auckland workshop.
